Business performance is, in principle, determined by a multitude of factors. One of them is the quality of services offered by commercial banks. In this study, we seek to determine the effect of banking digitalization on the performance of SMEs in Jacmel, in a context marked by the scarcity of credit and dysfunctions linked to payments. To this end, we conducted a survey of 118 SMEs in the city. From the data collected, we estimated two multiple regression models describing the relationship between the variables studied. Our results show that banking digitalization has a positive and significant effect on turnover, while the effect on the quality-cost-delivery time triptych of goods or services for SMEs is positive, but not significant. Turnover and the quality-cost-delivery time triptych of SME products are the main indicators for measuring this performance.
